You cannot watch a North Carolina basketball game without Tyler making 3 or 4 great plays that any player could make if they hustled...but they don't. Tyler does.

Whether it's steal that he makes by diving for a ball or a 3 pt play he gets by getting himself in position to draw a foul he is always working. and Out-working his opponents. And usually his teammates!

Certainly a candidate for National Player of the Year, Tyler Hansbrough may or may not win depending on the fortunes of his team this year. Tyler is definitely not a flashy player. Doesn't shoot the 3 point shot. Doesn't block a lot of shots. But he just keeps on working and playing harder than anyone else on the court until eventually he scores, he gets fouled, he hits free throws, and he steals a ball or draws a charge. When his teammates hit the 3 point shots they win. And if they win enough, he may be another in a long line of Carolina players to be named National Player of the Year.
